#12: Never Trust Anything You Read on the Internet
Ah, the internet. A strange and wonderful place where facts and fiction can coexist in perfect harmony. In an online forum, one person claimed that it took 10,000 bees a whopping 25 years to produce the honey that we so carelessly waste. Another person, however, pointed out that it actually only takes about 550 bees to produce a pound of honey in just 2-3 weeks.
Let’s not forget the important lesson here: either way, we should all be more mindful of our honey consumption. After all, those hardworking bees put in some serious overtime to make that sweet, golden nectar. But we should probably find out the real amount of time it takes to produce honey…
