The couple initially tried to take things slow and keep their relationship under wraps because Keri was just coming out of a divorce after seven years of marriage. 

Their feelings for each other, however, were too strong to ignore and they made it official in 2014. Keri has a son and daughter from her previous marriage and now has a son with Matthew as well.
