Now, here’s a couple that has survived both a broken engagement and a long-distance relationship. We’re talking about Friends star, Courteney Cox and Snow Patrol singer and songwriter Johnny McDaid. The two started dating in 2014 and got engaged just six months later. However, things didn’t go as planned and they soon split up only to reconcile once again. 

According to Cox, calling off the wedding was the best decision ever as the time they spent apart brought them closer together. We don’t hear of couples getting “happily unengaged” but here’s an exception that we can all get on board with.
