An alarming number of Americans out there think chocolate milk comes from brown cows. The estimate isn’t as high as u/Bring_Prowl_Back says. It’s closer to 7%, which according to The Washington Post, adds up to 16.4 million people. That’s still far too many people confused about something as simple as chocolate milk.
Skin color is the only real difference between brown cows and their black and white brothers and sisters. That’s it. The brown ones don’t have a chocolate-producing organ in their udders, but they tend to produce more cream, while black and white cows produce more milk. Now, what do we do about the one in five adults who don’t know hamburgers are beef?
