Earthquake Confusion
The four seasons are unique with all the special weather and conditions they bring. Some we love, others we’d rather not deal with, depending on the climate you live in. For example, June is known as the rainy season in Japan, followed by the typhoon season from July through October. So when is earthquake season?
Aristotle thought earthquakes were caused by pockets of air trapped deep in underground caves, which inspired the idea of earthquake weather. However, the United States Geographical Survey says, “There is no such thing as “earthquake weather.” Statistically, there is approximately an equal distribution of earthquakes in cold, hot, rainy, etc.”
