Miniature tumbleweeds
When two tumbleweeds fall in love, they produce a bunch of miniature tumbleweed offspring. The average pregnant tumbleweed can give birth to thousands of fuzzballs at once with a survival rate of almost 100%. Thanks to air pollution, which is a natural pheromone for tumbleweed, these invasive plants have been mating like crazy as of late.
In case you didn’t know, the entire top paragraph was nonsense. Tumbleweeds don’t give birth, and this isn’t a baby tumbleweed. It’s actually a seagrass ball, which you can find on Mediterranean beaches. When Neptune grass dies, it collects into tiny fibrous balls that become stranded on the beach.
