I Have No Words
Okay, we’ve all heard the phrase, “you have to eat a peck of dirt before you die,” but is there any truth to it? Some people claim that eating dirt can actually boost your immune system. Now, call me crazy, but I think I’ll stick to my vitamin C supplements and not resort to munching on the soil.
I get it – our bodies need exposure to certain bacteria and microbes to build up our immune systems. But couldn’t we, I don’t know, go for a walk in the woods or something? Plus, let’s be real – the thought of chomping down on a handful of dirt doesn’t sound all that appetizing.
