#17: Suspiciously Nice
Exhibit A on why people from New York City despise people from California. They’re too dang friendly and bubbly! Okay, okay, we know that’s a stereotype and is not true of everyone from The Golden State. But you have to admit, this exchange between two customers is pretty funny if you keep that stereotype in mind.
New Yorkers are famously grouchy, and this customer’s bubbly good cheer and good manners were just too much for other guests to handle. He foolishly made the mistake of turning to everyone else in line and wishing them a wonderful day. How DARE he? Someone in line gave him a piece of his mind and banished him back to California. Guess that’s what happens when people get too much sunshine and excellent weather.
