#29: What’s the Difference?
Some people will say that a large part of living in New York City is about acting the part. You have to have the right clothes, the right walk, and the right attitude. You also have to drink the right coffee, evidently. This person was overheard trying to order a cold brew, but the coffee shop was all out. The barista offered an iced coffee instead, and the customer’s response was surprising.
Instead of throwing a fit about not getting their cold brew, they were very laid back about it. Do they think they’re in LA or something?! They admitted that they don’t know what cold brew is, so they were fine with iced coffee. This person’s honesty is refreshing, because most of us probably don’t know the difference between cold brew and iced coffee, too. We’re just too afraid to admit it!
