#32: An Existential Haircut Crisis
Okay, here we have another example of a little kid who is just too much. They were getting their haircut at a salon and the hairdresser was trying to make some fun, light conversation. They remembered that this kid had mentioned liking oysters the last time they came in for a haircut, so they decided to see if that was still their favorite food. The kid’s answer was… interesting, to say the least.
This 8-year-old kid said they didn’t have a favorite food because they didn’t want to have an attachment to anything or anyone. …Is this kid okay? First of all, what 8-year-old loves oysters so much that it’s their favorite food? Secondly, where did they hear the phrase “cultivate attachments”? Kids these days are dealing with too much stress. Whatever happened to playing video games and spending time outside?
