As we approach summer camp season for the families out there, we wanted to share some of our best packing hacks for summer camp. You know how it goes! You pack the bag for your kids only to find out that you forgot something.
This holds true for any family looking to pack for a vacation or summer camp. Today we’re sharing the summer camp packing hacks that we live by so that you won’t forget a thing while packing your kids up for summer camp this year.

Make a List
Step one is to have a list of everything that your kids need to bring to summer camp with items that your kids want to bring to summer camp. This will ensure you have a guiding light, aka the list, to go by when packing up everything for summer camp.
Label it All
Now is the time to invest in a label maker or order labels ahead of time. You’ll want to have everything that your kids bring to summer camp labeled. This will ensure that they don’t lose things forever! Water bottles, clothing, and everything in between must have your kids name on it.
Start Early
Don’t forget to start packing early for summer camp. Any items that your kids won’t use between now and the departure for summer camp must be put into the travel bag now. This will help keep you from forgetting any items in the summer camp overnight bag.
Use Packing Cubes
Consider using a large duffel bag that can allow packing cubes to fit inside with ease. This will help your kids keep their items organized inside their bag rather than throwing it all over the summer camp sleeping area. Your kids will need to stay organized so that they stay on schedule with the routine at summer camp!
Pack Extras
Don’t forget that your kids may lose things or need extras of items if they get too wet or something gets soiled during their summer camp stay. Pack extras of things that may get soiled and not be able to be cleaned during summer camp so that your kids don’t go without these necessary items.

Having these summer camp packing hacks on hand while you work with your kids to get them prepare for summer camp will go a long way in making sure that no one forgets a single item as they venture to leave the house and sleep over at the local summer camp this year.
