Where’s the door?
Dogs are more likely to become frustrated and aggressive if they can’t get inside. With time, they learn to associate the door with our entry and exit, and they may be trained to open and close it or wait until it’s opened. It becomes a habit for them over time, and the location of the door and how to access it are etched in their minds.
It might take days, weeks, or perhaps months for this dog to learn that the door has been moved and must be re-learned at a new location. But until then, our well-mannered doggo will have to wait for his owner to call him to the new door or come and get him. Is it possible for a dog to renege on such a long process? Yet another amazing memory by an incredible patient canine!
