Pilots Answer 45 Questions All Airplane Passengers Have

Some people may have heard that an airplane might have secret rooms. This isn’t true of all planes; only some large kinds do so. The goal of these secret rooms, which are generally positioned at the top of the plane, is to allow crews who fly for approximately 18 hours without rest to catch some shut-eye.

The facility features beds, a toilet, and light refreshments in each room. It’s not a location where airline crewmembers flee to avoid duty; it’s simply a place to get some much-needed rest.
