Learning Is Fun
To a much greater extent than older children, younger children find academic learning to be tedious and, for some, even intimidating. Younger children benefit enormously from unstructured play time. They may become indecisive or picky in their approach to the material when learning more complex subjects, such as mathematics, because of the level of difficulty involved.
Therefore, rather than alienating the child from mathematics, let’s try to make it more enjoyable for them. You won’t need anything more than a staircase, some cellophane tape, some markers, and some colored paper to pull off this clever hack! This could also be used as the basis for an artistic endeavor. Have you ever come across a more charming method of learning multiples?
