Do You See What I See?
As much as we’d like, we can’t keep an eye on our kids 24/7 because they go to school and enjoy playdates at their buddies’ houses. However, thanks to a quirk in how children’s brains work, this curious kid is under the impression his mother sees what he sees and can control his movements at school.
Believe it or not, kids up to around five years old are completely oblivious to the fact that your mind, feelings, and experiences are totally separate from theirs. So, the next time it sounds like they’re presenting a nightmarish sci-fi scenario about mind-control, think of it more like a kumbaya moment where they’re acknowledging their belief that they are one with everyone. It’ll save you the sweats.
