Having a baby is a monumental event. Whether it’s a C-section with every anesthetic under the sun or retreating to the woods with a bag full of rose quartz and a reiki master midwife, the goal is for mom and baby to be safe and healthy afterward. However, we don’t think anyone’s birth plan includes a kitchen knife and an underaged surgeon.
When your four-year-old wants to perform a Cesarean on your sister on the dining room table, you might chew on the idea of cutting down on those Grey’s Anatomy binges in front of the kids. Maybe replace that old Operation game with something like Candy Land. You know, anything with less cutlery.
