Kids are competitive and will turn anything into a game, especially when there are prizes to be won, no matter how ridiculous. When I was six years old, my cousin and I used to bet on who could eat the most Tabasco sauce without running for water and who weighed more.
We shied away from competitions that could earn us a curse, but this brave kid obviously doesn’t mind seven years of bad luck if it means winning his reflection while his opponents’ reflections remain trapped in the alternate universe behind the mirror until they play again. Wait, what game is this?
