It seems like our parents, teachers, and everyone else have told us our entire lives that if we just work hard and keep our grades up, we will get into a good school, and everything will fall into place after that. And while this plan isn’t necessarily a bad one, it isn’t exactly the most productive recipe for success anymore.

Look, they were only trying to help, but now every Millennial out there is overqualified for their jobs, seeking more in life, and constantly in debt because the world is very different from when our parents were young adults. With the qualifications we have today, we would easily outsmart our parents.
