It Goes on Your Record
Have you ever seen those artsy bowls on Etsy that are made from vinyl records? Well, this is a similar situation, only it wasn’t created on purpose. Here we have a vinyl record that was left in the car on a hot day. Sadly, the record didn’t make it out unscathed. Vinyl records are delicate, and they come with specific storage instructions.
It’s recommended to store your records at a temperature between 45 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit, and to never leave a vinyl record in direct sunlight. Otherwise, this is what happens. Just add records to the running list of things that should never be left in a hot car: gum, chocolate, plastic water bottles…
