Some jobs demand their employees to work around the clock and take no days or personal time off. It depends greatly on your boss, as some bosses are more demanding than others, and have unreasonable expectations. While some jobs can pertain to a matter of life and death, nothing is more important than taking time to mourn the loss of a loved one.
One person shares their experience with a job that demanded them to take calls and be available at all times, even during their father-in-law’s funeral. Somehow, this person managed to not quit on the spot, but their boss was clearly acting inconsiderately under the circumstances.
