You’re Faking It
There’s nothing worse than your boss thinking you’re faking an injury just to slack off. At least, that’s what we learn from this tweet. Working in a kitchen at a restaurant is a face-paced environment and you must be careful. With a slip of the hand, you can get a burn, cut someone else, start a fire, or accidentally cut yourself. In the event of a bleeding injury, you might need to seek medical attention.
One person shares their story working in a restaurant kitchen. They ended up cutting themselves with a knife that went through their nail and into their thumb (ouch!). Instead of bleeding all over customers’ orders, they moved away from the food station. The manager reprimanded them by yelling and claimed they had made the situation worse on purpose.
