Ruining for Everyone
Sometimes, if you can’t be a part of the fun, you don’t want anyone else to be, either. We’ve all been there; when you can’t join the party, you don’t want your friends to go, either. You don’t want them to have fun without you, and you resent it when they have inside jokes that you’re not a part of. It’s only natural to feel this way.
Since this kid’s parents decided to be honest with him from the get-go and tell him that Santa isn’t real, he was probably the only one in his classroom who knew the truth. So, he decided to ruin it for everyone else. Why should he be the only one to suffer? They should all be disillusioned. Talk about the Grinch who stole Christmas!
