#14: Those Thomas Jeffersons
Although not common, the two-dollar bill is a denomination of currency that is still in circulation in the US. Since it’s a legit form of currency, this person was completely flabbergasted when they were denied entry into a bar. For whatever reason, they had a few two-dollar bills on them and tried to pay the cover fee with them.
Instead of accepting the cash, the bouncer insisted they leave! This person didn’t argue because the bouncer was pretty intimidating, but we can’t help but wonder what the reasoning was. Maybe the bouncer was used to dealing with scammers and thought our storyteller was trying to pull a fast one. Or, maybe the bouncer wasn’t aware that a two-dollar bill was an actual form of currency!
