#13: Variety Can Be Confusing
I must admit that throughout my travels, I never did find anything like an American grocery store. Japan was maybe the closest, but I’ve taken the variety for granted in the US my whole life. While we certainly don’t have everything here, and some stores are nicer than others, we always have a good selection of fresh foods available.

Our state fairs are pretty amazing, too. I’m assuming they’re referring to the glutinous binge of eating corn dogs and funnel cakes until you can barely move. That’s an American tradition, for sure. I’m also fond of specialty items, like peach pies and cheese doodles!
