#16: We Love Our Shows
American humor varies widely, and I like to think that’s why we have some fantastic shows. From kitschy rom coms to serious sci-fi, there is something for everyone. Now with Netflix, Amazon, and other streaming services constantly battling for the top spot, we will see even more choices soon!
A fun fact, the most viewed television show in America, nestled amongst all the Superbowls, was the M*A*S*H finale, “Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen”, in 1983. Over 105 million viewers tuned in, earning it a spot in the top ten, otherwise dominated by American football.
