#7: We Certainly Have Entertainment Covered
While many people will argue (and rightfully so) that India produces the most movies worldwide, the US grosses the largest share of entertainment per capita. This leads to an interesting debate about quality versus quantity. In other words, we don’t make the most movies by a long shot, but the ones produced within the USA fare better than those produced elsewhere.
The United States movie industry comprises a whopping $65+ billion per year, while India is an average of 183 billion Indian rupees, or roughly $2.5 billion. This is shocking when you consider that India makes nearly 1.5 times the amount of shows and movies each year when compared to the US.
