Manners are important
From a young age, our parents teach us to say “please” and “thank you” when we’re asking for someone’s help. Well, why shouldn’t we do the same with our computers? Google is always there by our side, helping us with our college assignments, answering all of our questions. It only makes sense to say please and thank you, right?
We owe it that much. This person’s grandma certainly knows the importance of manners. She seems to think it’s necessary to type “please” and “thank you” when typing a question on the Google search engine. For all we know, she’s the one in the right here. I mean, when the machines take over, they might remember she was treating them with respect.
