Mixed Messages
If you’re unsure of what to do, you should always ask questions. This person was told by their higher-ups that if they wanted to learn, they should reach out and ask someone who knew. That doesn’t sound very unreasonable, but this list isn’t about reasonable employers.
The OP was let go just two weeks into the job because—get this—they were asking too many questions. This whole thing was the boss’s idea, and yet, the OP had to suffer the consequences. It seems like the OP would’ve been fired regardless of how many questions they asked during their training period.
