Churches Don’t Lie
This person worked for a pretty large retail bank in the country, and their job mainly involved receiving and processing large deposits made by different organizations. One of their customers was a church that wanted to deposit a large sum of money into their account. However, they learned that the OP reported $50 less than they thought was in the bag.

Despite there being cameras and a second pair of eyes watching the OP count and process the money, the bank still fired them for the “mistake.” It sounds like the bank was using the OP as a scapegoat to make sure the customer was happy.
