That’s not a toy!
We know that dogs can pick up a couple of phrases over time. Some can even understand what it means when you tell them to fetch a certain object. That’s sort of what happened to this particular pupper. It learned that “get your toy” meant to get its toy, but it also took it as “get the closest soft object in the area,” which it would often do.
One time, the dog even picked up its cat sibling because there was nothing else nearby. That must’ve been a weird sight, seeing your dog carrying a cat by its neck because you told it to “get your toy.” From that day, the cat truly understood what it meant to its doggo brother.
