America, America!
If you hang out in any tourist spots outside the United States, you can often easily identify American tourists by their attire. Non-Americans say they can pick them out of a crowd thanks to clues like white socks, clothing plastered with brand names, and fanny packs bursting at the seams with everything they need “just in case.” There’s also the flag wear.
American tourists are known for flying to other countries and displaying their citizenship on their shirts, but some even do it on their home turf. An Old Navy shirt wasn’t enough for this couple, who was dressed from head to toe in stars and stripes so loud this bystander stopped to pledge allegiance.
