#25: It’s a Waiting Game
Sometimes, life happens, and you can’t go on that trip you’ve been looking forward to, and you have to get a refund for those expensive plane tickets you bought. You’re already having a bad enough day, but you just have this one task, and then you can think about something else, so you call and wait. And wait. And wait.
We extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to people stuck in the hell of corporate phone call roundabouts. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves and has been the near-death of many a phone. Couldn’t there be an online system instead? Something that takes maybe twenty minutes instead of several hours? We’re in 2024, people. There has to be a better way.
