#44: The Boot Cutter
This OP is very, very bothered by the state of his coworker’s shoes. Apparently, this coworker drags the front of his foot along the ground when he walks. Whether he drags his foot intentionally or due to a limp is unclear. What is clear is that the front of his steel-toe boots is completely cut off.
It seems impossible that the steel toe of these boots would be able to get worn down so low on its own. So, we are left to wonder why someone would cut the front of their boots off. The state of this coworker’s shoes doesn’t really affect our OP, so we don’t see what the big deal is. He only has to worry if this coworker asks to borrow his boots.
