Quentin’s Sloppy Handwriting
Designers usually spend hours and hours coming up with the perfect font and stylization for a movie’s title. Studios will pay lots of money to hire the right designer who can make easy-to-read yet memorable fonts for their titles. In some cases, you might find an easter egg or two in the movie title itself.
But when it comes to Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, the title is anything but pretty. It looks like it was hastily written by someone who couldn’t be bothered to come up with anything better. Well, it turns out that the sloppy handwritten style of the movie’s title was actually Quentin’s handwriting. Guess that’s an efficient way to cut costs!
