Counting Months
For some reason, whenever someone asks, “how old is your kid?” parents insist on answering in months until their kids are 27 years old. Naturally, most parents stop counting their child’s age in months around the 2-year mark. We should just cut to the chase and use years from the get-go!
“My kid is 14 months old” sounds like a math problem waiting to happen. Nobody wants to do the math when they’re sleep-deprived and covered in baby puke. So here’s my proposal: let’s all agree to use years instead of months, okay? It’s a win-win for everyone involved – what’s there to lose?
