Your-terus
If I’m reading this correctly, what we see here are two happy expectant dads and the surrogate mother. If it were a shared parenting situation my guess is the woman wouldn’t be holding up a sign that says “uterus”. Then I took a closer look and noticed the sign the woman is holding up actually says UterUS: they underlined the “us”. So, either they thought this is a nice way to include the surrogate, or maybe it is shared parenting with a sense of humor. Who knows?
When the sitcom “Modern Family” first aired in 2009, it seemed like the American family sure had changed a lot since the days of “Leave It to Beaver”. But photos like this show it has become way-more-modern since then. So modern in fact that some people might find it a bit too much. It certainly opens up a debate.
