We know that some things aren’t meant to serve a purpose but are supposed to be purely aesthetic, but we don’t see how this ceiling falls into that category.

Yes, taste is subjective, but this ceiling pattern seems way, way, way too hard to clean to justify, even if you think it looks good. We bet you these pots never get cleaned. We can put money on it. Can you imagine how much dust (not to mention other things) accumulates inside these ceramic pots?
