#14: Believe It or Not
This one certainly qualifies for Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Because it’s that mind-boggling. According to this Reddit poster, Russia is bigger than Pluto. Let that sink in. Pluto’s surface area is 16.7 million kilometers (10.4 million miles) while Russia’s surface area is roughly 17 million kilometers (10.6 million miles). In short, Russia is a huge country.

Remember when Pluto was declared a dwarf planet and not a true planet? The continent of Russia is sizably bigger than that, at least by surface area. A dwarf planet. That’s pretty massive. Now, don’t let that get to your collective head, Russia. Also: justice for Pluto! Make it a bona fide planet again!
