When Two Galaxies Collide
Fun fact: when two galaxies merge, nothing vital will collide because of the mass amount of space between them. There is a lot of space in space. So, they just merge. As if on a highway. No matter or objects within become entangled. They just exist. Neat, right? Space is neat.
It makes sense, if you think about it. Space itself is so enormous. Apparently, it takes a long time for two galaxies to become one. But when they do, an entirely new structure is created to accommodate the planets and stars from both formerly separate galaxies. It’s like the best aspects of marriage – everyone keeps their individuality, nothing collides, and two still become one!
