We Built the Pyramids
Most of us associate Cleopatra, the last ruler of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt with the ancient Egyptian pyramids. However, as this Reddit user claims, in terms on time, Cleopatra lived closer to our age today than she did to the building of the pyramids. Does this mean Cleopatra lived closer to out time than we think, or that the pyramids are a lot older than we think? The second one, probably.
Tis means that even in Cleopatra’s time, the pyramids were already considered old (although, I don’t know about “ancient”). An even more mind-boggling fact is that woolly mammoths still roamed the earth when the pyramids were already around. Woolly mammoths! Those animals we see in animated films and museums. Can you imagine?
