Their Soft Spot
This fact might not be as mind blowing for some of you. Most of us are familiar with the soft spot in babies’ heads, but it’s interesting nonetheless. While they only develop kneecap around the age of four, the soft spot at the top of their heads, where the skull hasn’t completely formed, doesn’t take as long to close.
Usually, this happens between the seventh eighth month after the baby is born. That’s why we need to treat babies under one year old with extra care and attention, and support their head while we hold them, as to not cause any harm to this delicate soft spot. Isn’t it incredible that we basically keep shaping seven months after emerging into the world?
