Stephen Colbert is undoubtedly a certified funnyman, but in 1986, he hadn’t attained widespread fame and certainly wasn’t a household name. At that time, he was simply a 22-year-old university student. Despite not being widely known, he still appears to be a great person to be around if you were seeking some enjoyable company.
His wide and joyful smile feels contagious, urging us to join in and share a smile across time. Even if, back then, he didn’t realize he would make a living by making people laugh, it certainly appears that he was always the life of the party.
