#41: Royal Mail’s New Electric Delivery Bus
Snazzy! I see a lot of practical advantages, too. It’s efficient because it’s electric, plus, if you’re waiting on important mail, it would be easy to spot the red bus no matter where you are! Postal workers do a lot of stopping and going on the road. They need to be seen, so it seems they’ve made some improvements safety-wise. People are more likely to see this red color coming, therefore, less likely to hit it, aka fewer accidents.
It also makes more sense to have a mail van rather than a mail truck like we have. There is more space for the mail! This is a very sleek design, it looks efficient and aerodynamic. The large black window goes down very far and looks like it provides ample visibility. What’s curious is, I don’t see any rearview mirror! Maybe this van operates on a camera system instead!
