Reddit Users Share Clever Designs That Filled Them with Inspiration

Oddly enough, when I first saw this silverware, I thought it looked magical and Elvish. Turns out it was inspired by Elvin and Celtic folklore! An NYC-based designer, Francis Bitoni used a 3D metal printer to create the silverware. I’m fairly familiar with 3D printers, but had no idea they could make metal products too! You learn so much every day.

I can totally see the elves in The Lord of the Rings using these utensils. In the story, everything the elves construct is of the utmost quality-sleek, elegant, and regal. So it makes sense that this is some of the most beautiful silverware I have ever seen. However, my practical self wouldn’t allow me to buy it because it looks a little tough to handle and clean. High marks on style though!
