The Vast Majority of Nations Keep Eggs at Room Temperature.
Eggs are typically stored at room temperature, which is a common practice in many parts of the world. According to the findings of a study that was conducted in the United Kingdom, the freshness of eggs is unaffected by whether they are kept in the refrigerator or at room temperature while being stored.
In actuality, the opposite is true, at least insofar as the United States of America is concerned. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires that eggs be washed in order to maintain their natural shells. Because of the risk of salmonella infection, these eggs need to be stored in the refrigerator. To emphasize, they do not need to be stored in the refrigerator in order to keep their freshness; this is the only point I wanted to make.
