Is this a Jonas Brothers’ Song?
Back in 2006, the Jonas Brothers released a song called “Year 3000.” The lyrics are … not wholly deep or really poignant, but boy, do they tell a story. The below tweet quotes the chorus of said song. It talks about how they’ve been to the year 3000. Everyone lives under water. Oh, and your great-great-great granddaughter is doing fine. Cool?
So, nothing else has changed except folks dwell under the sea? Also worth noting: your great-great-great granddaughter would most likely be dead by the year 3000, so the math doesn’t check out. Especially since this song was released 15 years ago. And math is not our strong suit, but this seems like common sense.
