It’s All in The Sims Family
Childhood nostalgia is not uncommon these days. Nostalgia seems to be the “in” thing now as people reminisce over “the good ol’ days.” One Twitter poster muses over the art of sitting in your computer room playing The Sims until 3am. Remember desktop computers? Dial-up connections? Playing a video game on the family computer till 3am requires some serious sneaking skills.
So, did you stay up till 3am playing The Sims in your family’s computer room? Because apparently, if you didn’t, you obviously weren’t one of the cool kids. You know, the ones who create a virtual family while living with their real family that they ignore. It’s the perfect precursor to adulthood: you can simulate grown-up life before it happens! Video games are real, right?
