Ridiculous Things Mom and Dad Made Us Believe

February 4, 2021 by Elizabeth Grillo

Force Feeding

This mother’s biggest pet peeve was throwing away food, especially since she was an activist for hungry children. As a result, she forced her kids to finish all the food on their plates, instilling in them that it was a sin to not eat all of the food served to them.

She also probably made her kids eat past full, and they experienced discomfort from that. While not wasting food is a good lesson, these children had more control over their eating habits as they grew up.
