Need to Fix Your Phobia
We really don’t know what determines our sexual orientation although there are two things most people in society agree on: first, that we’re born the way we are and second, sexual orientation is not conteagous and cannot be passed on through a simple handshake. Although that is contrary to what this man’s father believed.
His father forced his son to wash his hands after greeting his queer uncle with concern that his son would acquire the same sexual orientation. His father’s phobia is no longer widely accepted in society. We hope his messed up belief didn’t have a strong influence over his son. Younger generations tend to be more open minded.
