34. Fake Accent
“The Nanny” is a television sitcom that aired from 1993 to 1999. The show was created and produced by Fran Drescher and Peter Marc Jacobson. It stars Fran Drescher as Fran Fine, a cosmetics saleswoman from Flushing, Queens, New York, who becomes the nanny for the children of a wealthy Broadway producer named Maxwell Sheffield, played by Charles Shaughnessy.

Niles, the butler, was depicted as having a somewhat snobbish and aristocratic demeanor and speaking in a “proper” British accent which was portrayed by Davis. That accent and mannerisms are likely to have been written into the script as a character choice, although it is not an accent that Daniel Davis typically uses in real life.
